AEROBIC EXERCISE

Come join us and have fun while getting in shape!  The Walk Aerobics class meets every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and FRIDAY from 9:00 – 10:00 AM in the Annex Gym area.  This is low impact walk aerobics exercises with a variation of movements, strength training, and balance work.  Monday is strictly walk aerobics.  Wednesday has walk movements plus light 2-5 lb. weights. Friday has walk movements, use of a resistance band, or mat work.  Members provide their own weights, bands, and mats.


AQUATIC EXERCISE

The Aquatic Exercise class meets MONDAY thru SATURDAY from 9:00 – 10:00 AM in the Pool.

CHAIR YOGA

The Yoga “Chair” Class meets every MONDAY from 4:00 – 5:00 PM in the Annex Gym area. All exercises will be done with a folding chair – which is provided for you.  Yoga mats are not needed.  Please bring a bottle of water, belt or strap, and wear comfortable loose clothing.  The Yoga class meets every Monday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in the gym area of the Annex.


LINE DANCING

Put on your dancing shoes, grab a bottle of water, and join us for beginner line dancing and an easy, fun exercise to music. Remember: “Motion is the Lotion for Aging Joints”. Line Dancing meets YEAR – ROUND every THURSDAY from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in the Clubhouse.

SWIMMING

4With a large heated pool, 30 x 60 Feet, swimmers, and floaters, talkers and children (on holiday) have plenty of water to keep them delighted.. The depth starts shallow – about three feet and graduates to the deep end, about eight feet.

You can find the lap swimmers doing their thing very early morning, around noon, and late afternoon. One mile is equivalent to 44 laps. A lap is going from one end of the pool to the other, – turning around – and going back to the other end. 22 laps = one half mile, and 11 laps = one quarter of a mile.
