L. Bulat motions to accept the recommendations of the ARB. T. Oteri seconds. Ayes all.
Suggestions/complaints:
Pam Cannon requests a temporary/removable type of cork board above the fireplace for ease in applying/removing decorations for various clubhouse activities. The board agrees as long as it’s temporary and each month’s hostesses will be in charge of their month’s activities.
Dwight Kehoe suggests adding the office phone number and the RGE website address to the front of the clubhouse. The board agrees with this suggestion.
Larry Larkin would like locked storage cabinets in the annex building for bridge players’ supplies. Photos of the cabinets were given to the board members for inspection. The price of two (2) cabinets will be $75.00 each plus tax and cost of locks. C. Brennan motions to buy the cabinets as long as locks are able to be installed. J. Furgasso seconds. Ayes all.
Edward Tefs would like more handicap parking at the annex building. This has already been handled.
Glen Walters states the Thursday night pool players are leaving the back door open when the A/C is running. The situation has been handled.
Old Business:
New Business:
Audience participation:
Bill Hunter spoke regarding yearly audits. R. Hartline explained that audits cost somewhere between $6000 and $8000. He also recommended an audit every five (5) years. We will be looking into an audit very soon.
Dick Maillett spoke regarding the car maintenance regulations currently in our covenants. A petition was submitted to the board for a possible change. This will be reviewed with our lawyer.
Heidi Murray suggests another pool rule sign be put up around the pool area.
Roberta Horsewood suggests the current pool rule sign be numbered, (rule #1, rule #2, rule #3 etc.)
Bill Cannon spoke regarding the possible Collier county ruling about watering only once a week and the consequences to everyone’s neighborhood.
Dwight Kehoe suggests that we contact our lawn services and ask them to heighten the lawn mower blades and keep the grass somewhat taller, especially during the dry season.
Directors Input:
Kay states the residents of Paris Court would like to change the landscape in the cul de sac. The board does not agree to the change at this time due to strict water restrictions. They will take this into consideration perhaps next May or June when we hopefully have a rainy season.
Kay suggests and the board has agreed to send a bouquet of flowers to Evelyn Gorton who will be 100 years old this year. Happy Birthday!!!
C. Brennan thanked everyone involved in the Thanksgiving dinner and the Gong Show. He also would like the name of the annex building changed. This will be taken into consideration at a later date.
Kay Randazzo adjourned the meeting at 2:15 P.M. L. Bulat seconds. Ayes all.
Respectfully yours,
R. Bulat, recording secretary
