Board of Directors Meeting
June 24, 2008
Board of Directors present: President Len Bulat, Kay Randazzo, Jerry
Rickert, Shirley Romano,Joe Furgasso,
Bruce Kean, Secretary, Rose-Mary Bulat
Residents attending:Dick Maillett
Suggestions/complaints:
- 1.  L. Bulat discussed the use of “My Safe Florida” for lowering our insurance
on the clubhouse and annex buildings. There is a minimal fee and our IPM
representative will set this up.
- 2.  L. Bulat updated everyone on the solar pool heating system and the upcoming
meeting on Thursday, June 26th at 11 A.M. Board members were asked to attend.
- 3.  The lawn at 124 Marseilles has been neglected for some time and the owner will
be sent the initial violation letter.
Old Business:
1.  Board room/office renovations…K. Randazzo showed everyone the carpet samples
that had been picked out by the decoration committee and also the bids on painting
the walls. After much discussion by the board, it was suggested that the
committee get bids on drywall over the paneling and bids on wallpaper.
New Business:
John Richardson and other residents have requested the board consider painting
one line and an X on each end at the bottom of the pool for lap swimmers, since
our pool will already be drained for updates. J. Rickert motions to proceed with
the painting. B. Kean seconds. Ayes all. Our IPM representative will be
notified of this change.
Director’s input:
- 1.  K. Randazzo informed the board that realtor’s signs, not the correct size, are
being removed.
- 2.  J. Furgasso asked questions regarding our heating solar system. L. Bulat stated the
solar company will be at our clubhouse this week to answer questions.
- 3.  B. Kean wanted the board to consider inserting a handyman’s name, if needed, when
a violation letter is sent.
- 4.  J. Rickert spoke regarding bulk delivery of water to refill the pool. IPM will
be notified.
- 5.  L. Bulat spoke regarding the waste of electricity in our clubhouse and
annex building from our residents. The A/C lock box in the gym was ripped from
the wall, the A/C controls were upped and left on all night. The lock box was
also stolen. Len is looking into a different locking system or timer mechanism.
L. Bulat motions to adjourn the meeting at 10:40 A.M. S. Romano
seconds. Ayes all.
