Board of Directors Meeting

April 15, 2008

Board of Directors present:President Len Bulat, Kay Randazzo, Charlie Brennan, Joe Furgasso, Jerry Rickert, Shirley Romano, Bruce Kean, Treasurers, Walter Rowland and Wayne Horsewood, IPM representative, Randall Hartline and secretary, Rose-Mary Bulat

The meeting was called to order by President Len Bulat at 1:00 P.M.

The minutes of the last meeting dated March 18, 2008 were accepted by C. Brennan and second by J. Rickert. K. Randazzo declined as she had not read the last meeting’s notes.

Presentation: Guest speaker, Tom Gregory, from Hot Wire (cable TV, hi-speed internet, telephone and many other electronic services) spoke regarding the beginnings of Hot Wire, its growth, pricing and multiple capabilities. Many questions from the attending residents were answered by Mr. Gregory.

Treasurer’s report: During the transition of treasurers, Wayne Horsewood reported on the financial and manager’s report. He stated the payroll balance will be corrected by IPM. Office expenses were elevated due to extra mailings and legal expenses were explained. Pool and irrigation expenses were also higher due to various maintenance problems.

ARB report:

The following plans were submitted by the ARB for board approval:

C. Brennan motions to accept the recommendations of the ARB. J. Rickert seconds. Ayes all.

Larry Pairitz informed the board that Dwight Kehoe will be taking over as the chairman of the ARB. Congratulations, Dwight.

Suzanne Pellish is concerned about not having the outside lights on at the annex building. The situation will be looked into this week.

Bobby Schweikert asked about moving the office to the annex building for more room in the clubhouse. This issue was brought up several years ago and voted down by the board.

Director’s input:

Joe Furgasso spoke about problems with real estate companies in our community

Kay Randazzo asked the board to give our secretary, Sheila, a raise in pay. K. Randazzo motions to accept and J. Rickert seconds. Ayes all.

Bruce Kean asked about decreasing the lawn mowing since the grass growing has slowed this season. R. Hartline will talk with Daley about this.

Len Bulat motions to adjourn the meeting at 2:30 P.M. J. Rickert seconds. Ayes all.
