The pre-designated member of our Board of Directors will decide to secure or not to secure. If the former, that member shall notify the Hurricane Committee Chair who will contact those members of the committee who have volunteered for that month. They will meet together at the Clubhouse as soon as possible. (We recognize that some members may be delayed because they are securing their own homes.)
Hurricane Committee members shall be responsible for securing the clubhouse, pool, shuffleboard court, and bocce area.
Move the lounges, tables, chairs, umbrellas, waste containers,
hose (located near shower or on side of building), pool life rings

erect the vertical supports on the garage door exterior and interior. These brown colored metal supports (4) are stored just left of the garage door inside. The 10 foot ones should be erected inside, the 9 foot ones, outside. The bottom of each support is rectangular with a small protrusion which fits into a socket on the floor. The silver colored top of each support recedes so it fits into the top. Each support is first set in the upper socket. Its top (silver colored) is pushed in so that it can snap back to a socket on the top sill of the garage door. Then, while it's pushed in, the bottom of the support is slipped into its socket.
The coordinator of each team shall hold key(s) and supplies until the emergency is over.
After the emergency the members of the committee acting as
a group should move the pool furniture that had been stored in
the clubhouse to the pool area.
Each of the four teams and the chairman shall return the buildings and grounds to their pre-storm condition and then give the chair the keys and bags of supplies.
