Here I am a month late, but I wanted to say "Congratulations" to Irene Paliulis and her Riviera Care Wear Volunteers. Look at all they have accomplished! Rather than leave up entire April Newsletter, I'll just extract their item from it and put it here. They are probably the most unsung group of volunteers at Riviera.
RIVIERA CARE WEAR VOLUNTEERS(From Riviera Newsletter April, 2008)
Our CareWear knitters and crocheters will soon be heading north for the summer months. One member of our group, Jean Schwertfeger and her sister Mary Rita from upstate New York donated 40 lap robes! These ladies have flying fingers! A few days after the drop off, Jean dropped by with 24 more that she found tucked under the bed in the guest room. What an incredible amount of work. Thanks again to Jean and her sister. Bonnie Frost answered my call for small buttons and I have enough for a few months of sweaters for the babies.
Barrington Terrace (formerly Heron House) sent a very nice note to the volunteers thanking them for their lap robes. "Our residents enjoy having them so much. It is fun to see the residents sitting in our living room and see a rainbow of colors." Ladies, your work is very much appreciated.
Easter bunnies were dropped off with the March, “Take Me Home Baby Sets” and April will see the babies getting hats, booties and bears in springtime colors with flannel receiving blankets.
Anyone interested in joining our group, give me a call at 213-1690. Drop off of supplies at my home at 770 Charlemagne Blvd.

About the Contact Us feature. You must put something on every line or no message will be sent. If you have been the victim of a lot of spam, I can understand some reluctance to put down your email address, but I would appreciate your real name. You must put something on the email line or it won't work. You can put a phony email like dontrump@comcast.com. If fact, you can use Anon. However, if you do this don't expect a reply. And I am sure that you will put something on the message line.
If you would like to share any photos of recent Riviera Golf Estates events, I would like to put them here on your website. Things like the recent Annual Golf Tournament, any Riviera dances, dinners, etc. If all you have are actual photos, give me a call. (239) 793-2961- Lawrence Larkin. I can get surprisingly good results just scanning your photos. If you are reading this you probably have a computer. If they are on your computer, you can email them to me if you like. I set up a dedicated email site for Riviera photos. It is riviera.photo.@.hotmail.com.
