In this regard, a color sample must be submitted for a driveway paint and compared to the chart of permissible colors in the same manner as required for painting the home. All other modifications to driveways (pavers,etc.) require Board approval.</p> <p><u><b>EXCEPTIONS</b></u> An ARB application is <u>NOT</u> required for the following modifications:</p> <ul> <li>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;Planting or removing <u>annual</u> flowers or plantings.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;Installation of an irrigation well and pump, and landscaping related to this project.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;Replacing lawn sod with new sod. <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;Adding or replacing gutters and downspouts.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;Replacing or maintenance to garage doors, lanai doors or main entry doors.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;Erecting or replacing a flag pole.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;Replacement or maintenance to a lamp post or mail box.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>8.&nbsp;&nbsp;Central air conditioning maintenance or replacement.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>9.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tree and shrub trimming or removal and replacement.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>10.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roof repair.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>11.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roof replacement where the replacement material is the same, that is, shingle to shingle, does NOT require approval, but shingle to slate does require approval.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>12.&nbsp;&nbsp;Installation of materials relating to hurricane protection. Note: if using plywood, it must be fitted to the window opening and painted either white or the primary color of the residence.</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> <li>13.&nbsp;&nbsp;Installation of replacement windows of the same size and shape as at present in the main residential structure; <u>replacement of lanai windows does require Board approval</u></li> </ul> </body> </html>
