Treasurer's report:Walter Rowland reviewed the income expense statement, balance
sheet, financial summary and manager’s account. R. Hartline stated that there are 45
owners who are late or have not paid their fees to a total of $21,322. These are due
to some residents that were relying on the bank to have automatic withdrawals taken
for the second quarter, also foreclosures, liens and others are in the hands of
attorneys. This will be reviewed by R. Hartline and our secretary, Sheila, to determine
a course of action.
ARB:
The following plans were submitted by the ARB for board approval:
- Barrett…paint…approved
- Oteri…paint…approved
- Overbaugh…paint…approved
- Tilly…paint…approved
- Eastman…carport extension…approved
- Roe…enclosure…approved
S. Romano motions to accept the ARB recommendations. P. Mullins seconds. Ayes all.
Suggestions/complaints:
- (A) Lin Courtenay spoke regarding neighborhood animals relieving themselves on his lawn
and defending his rights regarding his property. Any further disputes can be handled by the
Collier County sheriff’s. Len Bulat provided a deputy’s name and phone number.
- (B) 155 Estelle…a complaint was made of a trailer in the driveway. The trailer is now
gone and the residents are up north.
- (C) Boesche…resident suggested cell phone numbers and northern addresses be placed
in RGE’s phone book. Len Bulat informed the board members that we do not have enough room
for these additions.
Old Business:
- (A) Pool update…all county discrepancies have been completed per R. Hartline except for
the depth markers. The county inspector must notify us as to the exact locations where they
should be placed.
- (B) Paul Langford reported that the cut-through to the clubhouse parking lot that was
suggested a few months ago was denied by the county and not worth pursuing.
New Business:
- (A) Hall rental…our insurance carrier explained that any resident wanting to rent the
clubhouse for a private occasion will have to supply a copy of their own homeowners insurance
policy stating that they carry liability insurance…it was also explained that liquor is
acceptable as long as drinks are not being sold.
- (B) Clubhouse floor waxing…right now the floor is in good shape and the next waxing will
be done right before “season” begins.
Audience Participation:
- (A)Dwight Kehoe suggested the covenants regarding the length of an animals leash be changed
to a shorter length.
- (B)He also asked if IPM can retrieve our financial statements on-line for quicker
service. R. Hartline will look into this.
Director's Input:
- J. Furgasso talked about changes in the phone book and also stated many people are
putting their garbage containers out too early
- L. Bulat will have R. Hartline look into a complaint of an “illegal” car parked on
Riviera Blvd. West
B. Kean motioned to adjourn the board meeting at 2:00 P.M. S. Romano second. Ayes all.
Respectfully yours,
R. Bulat, recording secretary
