Board of Directors Meeting
April 21, 2009
Board of Directors present:Vice President Bruce Kean, Second Vice President Joe

Walter Rowland, IPM representative, Randall Hartline, acting secretary, Lois Kean
Residents attending:Helen Mueller. Barb Henneman, Rosemary Lingsch, Clifford
Lingsch, Dan Donaldson, Robert Cassell. Wayne Horsewood, Roberta Horsewood,
Suzanne Pellish, Joyce Francisco, Edmun Rutherford, Donna Rae Rutherford, Joyce
Houston, Vernon Olson, Mary Olson, Larry Pairitz, Barb Wayner, Thomas Sorogl,
Roger Jacobson, Dwight Kehoe, Ginny Kehoe, John Richardson, Evelyn Christensen,

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Bruce Kean at 1:00 P.M.
The minutes of March 17, 2009 meeting and the special meeting of April 8, 2009 "were
accepted by Joe Furgasso and seconded by Paul Langford. Ayes all.
Treasurer's report: Walter Rowland reported on the financial and manager's accounts,
statement of monthly income and expenses. Walter reported that we were in arrears
a considerable amount
for dues last quarter, partly because of the confusion of bank
withdrawal as well as foreclosures. Kay Ransazzo motioned to accept the financial
report, Pam Mullins seconds, Ayes all.
ARB:
The following plans were submitted by the ARB for board approval:
- Brown--paint color--approved
- Greenberg--paint color--approved
- Boesche--step stones approved--Fence rejected
- Lewis--patio--approved
- Wayner--fence--approved
- Rebello--pavers--approved
B. Kay Randazzo motions to accept the ARB recommendations. Joe Fugasso seconds. Ayes all.
Suggestions/complaints:
- (A) L. James - complaint about the property at 7 LeMans, needed clean-up, the board
agreed to do a one time clean-up on the property grounds. There was discussion about
contacting the bank who owned the property to be reimbursed for the amount of the clean-up.
The board agreed to try to get reimbursement from the bank
for the cost of clean-up.
- (B) B. Mulligan-A letter was sent to Mr Mulligan at 94 LeMans Drive pertaining to a trailer
in the driveway, which has been removed, and the complaint of children in the home. Mr. Mulligan
reported that the children were just visiting. A second letter was sent to Mr Mulligan regarding
the condition of his lawn. Mr Mulligan responded on 4/12/09 that he will have the tenant take
care of the problem.
- (C) Barb Henneman spoke concerning an incident with a resident as she was walking her dog.
Vice President Bruce Kean informed Barb that he and John Richardson spoke with Sandy Mendez, a
Collier County Deputy Sheriff, pertaining to incidences such as this. In the future give her a
call as this is her job to negotiate differences. She can help.
- (D) Rosemary Lingsch spoke about a similar incident, with the same resident, while walking her
dog. John Richardson read a letter from county enforcement regarding harassment and containment of
pets. The same advice was given to Rosemary to call Sandy Mendez if another situation arose.
Old Business:
- (A)An update on the pool problems was given and repairs are starting today and will be finished
as soon as possible.
- (B)Paul Langford reported on median crossover and explained the cost will be up to RGE. The county noted
they are trying to cut down on "crossovers." The suggestion was made to call Donna Fiala for her
assistance in this matter.
New Business:
- (A)Vice President Bruce Kean reported that six new chairs have been purchased for the pool.
Several were worn and needed to be replaced.
- (B)The office ceiling lighting has been replaced with much improvement.
- (C)Our current "handy man" will be leaving at the end of the month and will no longer be available.
We will be using another "handy man" that will charge the same price, $25/hour.
Audience Participation:
- (A)IPM representative, Randall Hartline was asked by Dwight Kehoe if any RGE funds were affected
by the recent scandal of their company IPM. Randall Hartline declared "NO."
- (B)More discussion about the current pet situation with neighbors. After much discussion,
Pam Mullins motioned to send a letter to Lin Courtenay concerning the pet problem. Paul Langford
seconded, motion carried. Pam also suggested that Sandy Mendez's phone number be posted in the next
newsletter.
The meeting was adjourned by Paul Langford at 2:35 and seconded by
Pam Mullins. Ayes all.
