The meeting was called to order by President Len Bulat at 1:00 P.M.
The minutes of the last meeting dated December 22, 2009 were accepted by P. Langford and second by B. Kean. Ayes all.
Treasurer’s report:W. Rowland explained the balance sheet, financial summary and manager’s account. He would like the board to consider purchasing a CD at Bank United for 2.1% for 24 months. The only requirement is to open a checking account for a minimum of $100. P. Langford motions to accept W. Rowland’s suggestion and P. Mullins seconds. Ayes all.

P. Mullins motions to accept the ARB recommendations. B. Kean seconds. Ayes all.
Old Business:
- 1. Kitchen update...P. Mullins spoke for the committee and stated the renovations in the kitchen should be completed this week.

- 2. Asphalt paving-cul de sacs...Champagne court was completed and the cost was absorbed by Waste Management. Kay Randazzo is also looking into the cul-de-sac at Riviera Blvd. W.

- 3. Fitness update...since Bob Delaney (Compass Group) did not attend this board meeting, there is nothing to report regarding the improvements/repairs
New Business:
- 1. Asphalt paving..clubhouse parking lot..so far there is only one bid, hopefully more to come by next board meeting

- 2. Copier update..our new copier has been installed. We will now be printing the Newsletter ourselves which will save us approximately $500 per month. Ballots and other printings will also be done by our new machine.
Audience participation
- 1. C. Lingsch asked about two trees to be cut down in his cul-de-sac.

- 2. J. Armstrong asked about the store room in the annex. It needs to be cleaned up. B. Kean and L. Bulat will look into it today.

- 3. A. Hendricks wanted an update on foreclosures in our community. L. Bulat stated there are14 foreclosures as of today. Bad debts (past dues, fines, grass cutting, etc.) total approximately $30,000. L. Bulat also stated that we should recoup some of the money owed to Riviera when any closing transactions are made which are under lawyer control.

- 4. K. Seppelt asked about fines on these foreclosures.

- 5. G. Sakran stated the property behind her home has "leaning" trees toward her home and is concerned because of hurricane season. We will send a letter to the golf course regarding this matter.
Director's Input:
- J. Furgasso talked about people using the swimming pools after hours. Also residents putting out their trash ahead of time and not bringing trash cans back to the home. Many homes are without house numbers on them.

- P. Langford wished the new candidates good luck on the upcoming election.

- L. Bulat talked about bids on the electric line from the annex to the clubhouse. FPL states it’s not their problem. This trenching could cost in excess of $5000. More bids are forthcoming.

- The pool gate and office door will be taken care of this week.

- Len received a call from M. Gartside wanting to donate $50 to the Naples Historical Society. The money was from the 50/50 drawing at the last dance. B. Kean motions to approve this donation and P. Mullins seconds. Ayes all.

- P. Mullins hopes everyone is happy with the renovations taking place in the clubhouse. The committee is still very busy obtaining prices for the window treatments.
