ANNUAL MEETING
February 23, 2011
President Bruce Kean called the Annual Meeting to order. All residents were welcomed and thanked for attending the meeting. President Kean then led the Pledge of Allegiance.
President Kean had each board member, property manager and guest introduce themselves. Bruce Kean, Joe Furgasso, Pam Mullins, Paul langford, Bill Cannon, Walter Rowland and Ken Seppelt. Compass Group representative, Marilyn Grasso, recording secretary, Rose-Mary Bulat and special guest, Donna Fiala, east Naples county commissioner.
President Kean informed everyone that a quorum has been met.
Last year's minutes were approved.
The candidates are Bruce Kean, Bill Joyce and Ken Seppelt
There were no nominations from the floor.
The nominations were closed.
The counting of the ballots began by compass Group representatives and was overseen by three of our residents.
Bruce Kean spoke regarding some of the accomplishments of our association during this past year.
Bruce also informed everyone that in 2010, 34 homes have been sold and closed and so far this year, 5 homes have been sold and 13 are pending.
Treasurer, Walter Rowland, discussed our financials and stated we are doing quite well. Walter also compared the balance sheet from last year to this year. He informed everyone that all financial information can be obtained at our office.
Joe Ring motions to accept the budget report and Joan O'Donnell seconds. No one in the audience opposes. The motion Is carried.
Donna Fiala, our east Naples county commissioner, spoke regarding our great community. She discussed tours given around east Naples, the transportation department and future plans for east Naples roads, upcoming communities and new businesses/restaurants. She states that "things" are really moving forward in east Naples.
The next guest speaker is Jay Ahmad from the Transportation Department and his assistant and project co-coordinator, Diane Lynch. He spoke of several projects in the works and future, including the Greenway Project and Lely Area Stormwater Project which will improve our drainage system here in east Naples. He also spoke and showed large photos of future improvements of intersections at Davis Blvd. and 951, US41 and 951.
Jim Spartz, representing Collier County Sheriffs Department, spoke regarding the Greenway Project and how it is being patrolled and protected. Connie Ledbetter, also from the sheriffs office, spoke regarding Crime Prevention in Naples.
Bruce Kean announced the election results.
Write-In votes as follows:
205 voted in favor of a rollover of funds. No one opposed.
Martin Reff motions to adjourn the meeting. Bobbie Schweikert seconds. Ayes all. The motion is carried.
ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

The board members adjourned to the board room for the election of officers.
Bruce Kean motioned to approve last year's organizational meeting. Paul Langford second. Ayes all.
Pam Mullins moved to nominate Bruce Kean for president. Paul Langford second. Ayes all.
Bill Joyce moved to nominate Pam Mullins for first vice-president. Bruce Kean second. Ayes all.
Bruce Kean moved to nominate Joe Furgasso for second vice-president, but he declined.
Paul Langford moved to nominate Bill Cannon for second vice-president. Bill Joyce second. Ayes all.
